I am happy to greet organisers, participants and guests of Russian International Energy Forum 2025 in St. Petersburg!
In compliance with the good tradition, our city is going to welcome representatives
of the leading industrial companies and unions, respected experts and specialists, who come
to discuss the current condition and growth prospects in regard of Russia’s fuel and energy sector.
Despite the geopolitical strain, under the global changes our energy sector proceeded
to develop in the new reality. As before, Russia has remained the leader in mining and export
of fuel resources and has been steadily heading for import substitution and technological independence.
The Forum has become an indispensable and top-expert venue where the most advanced projects are showcased. Thanks to its extensive program, the participants can learn a wide range of opinions and views on the most essential subjects of the industry and then deliver some initiatives together.
The energy sector of St. Petersburg, which is also known as the Northern capital
of Russia, has been playing a critical role in reinforcement of our country’s scientific
and technical potential. Every year, St. Petersburg shows its worth as regards to lean manufacturing and enhanced resource saving, which ensures both budget costs reduction
and creation of a more comfortable and green environment.
I am positive that the projects they are going to present at the Forum and the insights
and proposals shared there will promote further progress of the Russian economic sector
and support mutually beneficial international collaborations.
