Dear organisers, thank you for such a major event. RIEF is a place not only to meet other participants, get information about strategic development of the sector, talk about problems and learn how they can be solved both in Russia and abroad, but also to exhibit your products. We develop software for the energy sector, and that is why for us it is essentially important to know the needs and requirements of people for whom the energy sector has become a lifetime project. I took part in the session DIGITALIZATION OF THE ENERGY SECTOR: SOFTWARE FOR NEW CHALLENGES, and the round table discussion COMPLEX DEVELOPMENT, UPGRADE, AND AVAILABILITY OF ENERGY SYSTEMS AND MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE. I would like to highlight that the speakers were true experts with immense experience in the sector. They do really know about the problems and shortcomings of the current situation in the sector. Each of them cares for their consumers and the industry in general. The solutions they offered can help preserve and improve Russia’s leading position in the global market.

RIEF was impressively large-scale and covered unexpectedly many topics. For us, it became the place to consider key tasks in industrial policy, form new approaches to development of the procession industry market, quality assurance of the products made, and legal regulations. Moreover, we managed to conduct a meaningful dialogue with businessmen from the professional community and the Chamber of Industry and Trade in regard of follow-up audits as required by Federal Law 719. RIEF has always had a remarkable list of participants, fascinating reports, and first of all, lots of practical use for all the market players.

The Forum and the Exhibition were organised perfectly indeed. We were able to connect with new manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors eager to work with our company’s products and services. Clear and accurate arrangements as regards to registration, transport access, and placement at the stand helped us save time and spare the nerves. We were happy to see lots of young people and appreciated their interest in our goods.

RIEF is the event I am looking forward to throughout the year. This time, it was organised as perfectly as ever. The agenda was up-to-date, and the reports were thoroughly prepared. The discussions were most interesting, and the choice of moderators was absolutely fascinating. I am willing to thank the organisers and can’t wait to meet all of you at the Forum next year.

We are really grateful to our colleagues from ExpoForum International for many years of their effective collaboration with the Scientific Expert Board of the Federation Council, the Association of Energy Enterprises in the North-West Federal District, and of course, our latest mega-important project aimed to ensure energy security of Russia, that is the National Association of Energy Enterprises. It is always the exciting holiday atmosphere that prevails at the Forum. We are proud that we have got this chance to get all the up-to-date and relevant information to all kinds of managers and regular workers of the industry, as well as share our experience and make critical and essential decisions together.

This is not the first time when EnergoInnovatsiya has taken part in the Russian International Energy Forum. This year, together with the Russian-Kazakhstan Business Council, we have managed to arrange and hold a major international round table discussion as regards to our two countries’ collaboration in the energy sector. This discussion was a real success. We have outlined certain steps in our further proceedings. Participants of EnergoInnovatsiya made a few key agreements during the event. This is yet another proof that RIEF can give momentum and help realize even the most daring and intricate initiatives.

Great organization work, up-to-date agenda, and top-level participants. To a certain extent, events of this kind are always a growth point. All the new cases, new experts, and new ideas! First of all, the Russian International Energy Forum affords all these opportunities thanks to its pertinent and outstanding program.

Once again, RIEF 2021 demonstrated that it can be a great venue for power engineers to exchange opinions about a variety of matters and issues. Despite the pandemics, directors of state authorities, industrial companies and associations took active part in operations of the Forum and voiced their positions during both the plenary session and the sections that were part of the program. 5 of 11 member companies of Hydropower of Russia Association joined RIEF as participants. The position of the industry was outlined during the plenary session by Mikhail Khardikov, Head of EuroSibEnergo. The Association made their reports about business areas of Hydropower of Russia Association as regarded to sustainable development, as well as about the assessment system used to check compliance of operating hydropower facilities with sustainable development criteria. Moreover, they showcased the books that had become winners in the competitions.

RIEF 2021 turned to be one of the most significant venues where state-of-the-art technologies, equipment, and production accessories were supported that can enhance the Russian energy complex. The life cycle of power equipment, which includes scientific research, production, design, assembling, adjustment, and operation, was comprehensively covered during the seminars, conferences, round table discussions, and exhibitions. Everyone who took part in the talking did not just get information they needed - they made their contribution into substantiation of the strategy and development policy for the energy sector starting with operation of specific equipment and ending with energy progress in the regions and across the state. It should be also added that EXPOFORUM is a unique place where information support can go hand in hand with highly effective education.
